Housed in a custom designed 1U 19" rack mounting unit the
family ergonomics provide front panel display and control
facilities with all system interconnections and mains powering on
the back panel.
At the heart of each unit is a 6809 microprocessor running our
own applications specific software. Industry standard Balanced 3
pin XLRs, BNCs, DIN and D-Connectors are used for Timecode,
Video, Bi-Phase and Parallel/Serial I/Os respectively. An RS232
port with ASCII protocol is also fitted as standard.
The front panel Alpha Numeric display utilises high visibility
0.56" 7 segment display and can be assigned to the Reader or
Generator Numeric or User Bit information. It is also used to
access the comprehensive system set-up mode, which has battery
back up for all prime system functions.
